Buying a Painting from Me

When you buy a painting direct from me all packing and shipping charges are FREE if you live in mainland USA, Canada, the UK or most of the EU countries. For other destinations please contact me - I ship worldwide and may still be able to quote you free of shipping charges.

Is it safe?

100% – Firstly, payment is made through PayPal, so you are already fully protected. Secondly I also offer a fourteen-day money-back guarantee to all my customers. You don’t even need to give me a reason – just return the artwork to arrive in the same condition as sent and you will receive a full refund of your purchase within three days of receipt. The only condition is that you must notify me by email, within fourteen days of receipt of the artwork. See the "Terms & Conditions" page at the bottom of the main page for full details.

Work in progress!

How will my painting be shipped?

Artworks are first protected by acid-free archive paper. They are then bubble-wrapped, with extra protection to the sides, and then protected by high-density polystyrene sheeting, then securely boxed in double-walled professional shipping boxes. All shipments are sent by tracked and signed-for insured carrier, typically UPS or FedEx. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your painting is dispatched. You will also receive a personally signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity with each artwork.

How I ship your painting

How long does it take?

I guarantee to ship within three days of receiving payment for your order – but I can often ship the same day. And it is not unusual for a shipment to arrive at a customer’s doorstep in the US within 48 Hrs.! But of course, I cannot guarantee this every time as we are in the hands of the shipping company and possibly your local customs too.

How does it work?

Once I receive confirmation of your payment your artwork will be packed and dispatched to you within three days.

Are there any hidden costs fees or charges?

There are absolutely no extra costs or charges beyond the cost of the artwork and shipping. However, occasionally there may be a small Import Duty or tax to pay locally. I cannot factor-in these charges, so you will be responsible for paying them if they do arise. You can easily check with your local customs office, to see if such a fee is payable on the importation of artworks. (There is usually no duty to pay in the US on artworks below $800 value).

That’s all very well, but...

If you have any question that I have not answered to your satisfaction here, just drop me a line and I will get back to you.
